On this journey of lingerie loves and explorations, I tend to trend towards Instagram for my inspiration. I love scrolling through luxury lingerie, handcrafted lingerie, and new names in the industry.

Pearlle, a new lingerie company, reached out and asked for me to review and model their lingerie. I was ecstatic and said yes. We corresponded and I chose three sets to model and review. Visting their website was the first thing I did. I was happy to find a nice clean and easy to use format.

Pearlle is still brand new [within the first year!] and they have 17 beautiful sets of bras and panties. Not wanting to exploit their kindness, I ended up choosing the Emile bralette, Charlotte demi, and the Naught-ia push-up. Like most things I choose I chose one for me, one that my husband would like, and one that’s a new style.

Just a week or so later my package came in the mail. I opened my package and pulled out my lace loves wrapped tenderly in tissue paper, a romantically tied ribbon, gold sticker, and a handwritten Thank you from Pearlle.

Prior to receiving my package my husband and I had been traveling and finally arriving home at midnight. I was exhausted, I told myself that I would wait and try everything on in the morning. One set after the other, and bedroom runway walk for my husband, I giddily tried on all of my new Pearlle intimates.

This set was one I chose for me! Being smaller chested, I typically gravitate towards bralettes or bras that have little support, fabric or shape. This bralette was all the comfort, and a little surprise of extra. At first glance this set looks like any other typical bralette and panty. Its got the lace, the straps, and extra frills, but what I really love is the back.

When I chose this set I didn’t realize that the back had this elaborate hook-and-eye closure. Before trying on, my brain instantly went to “oh dang, this is going to constrain me”. I choose barrettes for the free-ness, however, I am happy to say that these 4 clasps only made me feel more supported. Since the band is wide it spreads the work over more surface area of my body, giving that extra comfort I was looking for. The added bonus now is that I can prance around in a bralette and still be very sexy when undressing at night.

Make no mistake, the panties play their part too. I mean, imagine a set where one piece doesn’t quite fit your jam, then you only have half a set. I love that the cross ribbon design is carried down fro the bra to the panty. The cotton lining makes it soft on my skin and the elastic on the sides do not dig in. The only thing that’s worse than lingerie that’s too big, is lingerie that leaves red marks on your body.

This cozy set really set the standards for the rest of Pearlle. She found a way to make comfort sexy, and keep it comfortable. The lace on this piece is soft and elastic so it gives when I move, or if my body changes from day-to-day. I am happy to report that the hardware [clasps and strap adjusters] is made of metal! I am well assured that my strap won’t break or fail when doing one of my random activities of yoga, aerial silks, or goofing off.
