Introducing our ArtoberFest artists!!

Always searching for the barebone truth, Nadia Caterina collects inspiration as she travels the wilds of West Virginia and all over the world. These journeys, which she calls her collection walks, are usually initiated through meditation and guided by the natural world.

Nadia explores nature’s beauty in her art, incorporating bones, flowers, natural textiles, ceramics, and bronze. Her work began with balancing bones and feathers from hanging mobiles, making dozens of these teetering ecological homages at her woodland cottage. She is fascinated by ecological life cycles: seed, birth, blossom, decomposition, and rebirth. Her work displays nature’s stories of these cycles and the delicate balance between life and renewal.

Nadia’s work has evolved into bronze and ceramics explorations of the lives she encounters on her farm. She hopes that these simple yet beautiful shapes of the natural world around us will encourage others to slow down and see the wonders all around us. Nadia has shown her work in gallery exhibitions in Thomas, Fayetteville, and Morgantown over the past ten years.
